SHELTER ADOPTION HOURS:

Star of the North Humane Society holds adoption hours where the public can view available animals, ask questions, take a tour, volunteer, donate money or supplies and much more!

IMPORTANT! If you are coming to adopt an animal, you must complete the application and have it approved by the board of directors in order to take your new pet home the same day without a waiting period. We check all references for the safety and happiness of all adoptable animals. Click here for the online application to email to us!

Mondays 5 - 7pm
Wednesdays 12 - 3 pm
Thursdays 5 - 7 pm
Saturdays 12 - 3 pm

Coleraine is located in the heart of resort country only 10 minutes away from Grand Rapids, Minnesota. If you are planning to travel a distance, consider staying for lunch at our great restaurants or stay overnight at The Lakes Inn.... pets welcome (of course!).
