BETSY WILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND!BETSY is a seven year old, 18 pound, Pekingese/Poodle mix. She's full of life, quick to cuddle, and loves having her tummy rubbed. She doesn't like to be left behind at home and is an excellent car traveler. She also loves going for walks and doesn't pull a person along. When she has to stay at home by herself she likes a Kong with a bit of frozen peanut butter it it. Betsy learns a new home routine and new tricks (like "Dance") very quickly and loves to be rewarded with treats. She barks to alert you when someone is at the door and then welcomes them. At her foster's home she gets along fine with the mild-mannered Schnauzer. She enjoys having a comfortable dog bed or couch to lounge on when the humans are too busy to snuggle. She often naps in the office while her foster is on the computer. At night she wants to sleep with you so you'll have to decide who gets the pillow!
NOTE: Betsy was brought to the vet for euthanasia because her owners said she had bitten a small child. They opted to surrender her instead for placement in a home without children. She would make a wonderful companion for any adult or couple. She likes all the attention for herself so she'd be fine with having no other dogs in the home. She is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, and dewormed. The vet said her teeth were very good for a small dog but recommended a future cleaning. Her adoption fee is $200.00. MILO is an 18 week old male kitty up for adoption. He is UTD on vaccinations, Feluke negative, dewormed, and neutered. He's litterbox trained and very friendly. Adoption fee is $60. If you are interested, please fill out an application.

BUSTER NEEDS A SPECIAL HOME
Buster is an awesome 11-month-old male. He was hit by a car and lost his front right leg. However, throughout all the painful procedures he never lost his good nature--he always had a tail wag for everyone. He is currently in foster care and his foster says he has lots of energy and loves people. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids. He's not food or water aggressive. He's potty trained. He loves attention and listens well. Having three legs doesn't slow Buster down---he runs around and plays with his foster's two dogs and keeps right up with them. Buster is neutered, UTD on his rabies and distemper vaccinations, and has been dewormed. Buster's adoption fee is $200.
